Amalfi

Amalfi offers a picturesque landscape, characterized by sunny beaches, whitewashed houses and narrow alleys, arcades and stairways pervaded by the scent of lemons and brooms.

The most interesting monument is the Cathedral of St. Andrea which houses wonderful works of art and the relics of the patron saint.

The Civic Museum houses the famous Tables of Amalfi, the first text of maritime law. You can also visit the Paper Museum, located in an old medieval mill at the river Canneto, and watch the production techniques of the famous paper of Amalfi.

​Furore

Furore is known as the "Painted town" and is an open-air museum: with its murals "en plein air" has become part of the tourist routes that expose the art on the outside walls of houses.

It is part, also, of the Club of the most beautiful villages of Italy and in 2007 it was honored by the EDEN project, such as Emerging Rural Destination.

Furore is famous, not only for its excellent wine, but also for its Fiord. It is a narrow stretch of water at the mouth of an valley, created by the work of the stream Schiato that runs from Agerola  along the mountain to dive at sea. Here there is a tiny fishing village that was inhabited by, among others, by Roberto Rossellini (who shot the film The Love) and Anna Magnani, who was romantically linked to the director and that was the interpreter of a episode of the same film. A small museum dedicated to them is housed in one of the lodges.

The fiord is also bypassed by the highway thanks to a suspension bridge 30 meters high, from which, every summer, it takes place a round of the World Championship Dips from Great Heights. The fjord also appears in the novel "Italy dies" writer Alex Monti.

Amalfi

Amalfi offre un paesaggio pittoresco, caratterizzato da spiagge assolate, case bianche e da  vicoli angusti, portici e gradinate pervasi dal profumo dei limoni e delle ginestre.

Il monumento di maggiore interesse è il Duomo di S. Andrea al cui interno sono custodite meravigliose opere d’arte e le reliquie di S. Andrea .

Presso il Museo Civico sono conservate le famose Tavole Amalfitane, il primo testo di diritto della navigazione.

E’ possibile, inoltre, visitare il Museo della Carta, situato in un’antica cartiera medievale presso il torrente Canneto, e assistere alle tecniche di realizzazione della rinomata Carta d’Amalfi.

Furore

Furore è noto come il "paese dipinto", ed è un museo a cielo aperto: con i suoi murales "en plein air", è diventata parte dei percorsi turistici che espongono l'arte sui muri esterni delle case.

Fa parte, inoltre, del Club dei Borghi più belli d'Italia e nel 2007 è stato insignito dal progetto EDEN, come emergente destinazione rurale.

Furore è famosa, non solo per l'ottimo vino, ma anche per il suo Fiordo. Si tratta di una stretta striscia di acqua alla foce di una valle, creato dal lavoro del torrente Schiato che va da Agerola lungo la montagna per tuffarsi in mare. Qui c'è un piccolo villaggio di pescatori che è stata abitata da, tra gli altri, di Roberto Rossellini (che ha girato il film The Love) e Anna Magnani, che è stato legato sentimentalmente al regista e che è stata l'interprete di un episodio del film stesso. Un piccolo museo a loro dedicato è ospitato in una delle casette.

Il fiordo è inoltre scavalcato dalla strada statale grazie ad un ponte sospeso di 30 metri di altezza, da cui, ogni estate, si svolge una prova del Campionato del Mondo Tuffi da grandi altezze. Il fiordo compare anche nel romanzo "L'Italia muore" scrittore Alex Monti.
